SUGGESTED GUIDELINES FOR DISTRICT COMMITTEE MEMBER POSITION:

-Suggested four years of sobriety.
-Suggested past or present G.S.R. and be a member of a Home Group in District 14 in order to serve.
-Two year term.
-Carries collective Group Conscience of Groups at District to Area Committee.
-Suggested background in Service Work.
-Holds regular meetings of all G.S.R.s in District.
-Keeps G.S.R.s informed about Conference activities.
-Be familiar with the Service Manual, Box 459, and the Traditions.
-Hold Workshops.
-Invite Delegate to give Delegates report yearly.
-Handles Tradition breaks at the District level.
-Make all information from Delegate available to G.S.R.s at District expense.
-Assist Committees when weak and attend Committee meetings when invited.
-Attend Group business meetings when invited.
-Co-ordinate Service Activities at District level.
-Attend all Quarterly Assemblies and General Assembly.
-Stress eligibility for election to D.C.M. with G.S.R.s.
-Express high priority of service work.
-Announce District meetings.
-Have Knowledge of Area Handbook.
-*If three consecutive unexcused District meetings are missed your position will be filled by Alternate D.C.M. until G.S.R.s call for a new election.

* If three consecutive unexcused District Meetings are missed your position will be filled by someone else.
All materials are to be turned into current Alternate D.C.M. when Committee Chair rotates or resign early.
